WEST WINDSOR — Lisa L. Johnson died Wednesday at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 59.
Born in Worcester, Mass., Mrs. Johnson lived in East Windsor from 1977 to 1985 and then moved to West Windsor.
A nurse, she worked the last four to five years, until her recent illness, in the operating room of the University Medical Center at Princeton.
She was a graduate of Wachusette High School in Worcester, Mass. and the New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her degree as a registered nurse.
She worked as a RN at Memorial Hospital in Worcester, Mass., and taught nursing at Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing in Hanover, N.H.
She was a member of the Princeton United Methodist Church.
Daughter of the late Louise and Arthur Sjosten, she is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Johnson; brother and sister-in-law David A. and Arlene Sjosten of Worcester, Mass.; nephew and his wife John and Laura Sjosten of Douglasville, Pa; and niece and her husband Sara and Bobby Hazelton of Worcester, Mass.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Princeton United Methodist Church, Nassau Street and Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
Visiting hour will be 10 a.m. until time of service in the Sanford Davis Room of the church.
Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Holden, Mass., in the spring.
