Somerset County Business Partnership award nominees sought

   The Somerset County Business Partnership is seeking qualified nominees for its 58th annual Outstanding Citizen of the Year award and 14th annual Quality of Life award.
   The awards are given for exemplary volunteer efforts demonstrating creativity, vision, leadership, and citizenship by providing service to programs and activities that positively impact the welfare of the Somerset County community. The Outstanding Citizen award is bestowed upon an individual and the Quality of Life award on an organization.
   The awards will be presented at a dinner reception on May 7, at the Martinsville Inn in Bridgewater.
   Among the criteria for the award are: service impacting the welfare of the community; activities outside normal employment responsibilities; activities should have been performed in the past year but may be cumulative from prior years; nominees do not have to be Somerset County Business Partnership members or investors; previous recipients are eligible for activities other that those for which the prior award was given.
