Barbara L. Mastrogeorge

    MOORESTOWN — Barbara Lee Mastrogeorge died Feb. 22 at her daughter’s home in Moorestown after a long struggle with lung cancer. She was 73.
   A former Princeton resident, she worked many years at Princeton University’s McCosh Infirmary.
   She was a clinical psychologist specializing in gerontology with a private practice in Bucks County and provided counseling services for over 15 years at Neshaminy Manor Home in Warrington, Pa.
   Born in Port Chester, N.Y., she lived in Mamaroneck, N.Y., before moving to New Canaan, Conn.
   She attended Kendall Hall in Peterborough, N.H. and graduated from the Lenox School in New York City.
   After her years at McCosh Infirmary, she enrolled at Rider College and Thomas Edison College and received a doctorate from the Fielding Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, Calif.
   She was a member of the American Psychological Association.
   She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Newtown, Pa.
   Daughter of the late Lillian Schaeffer Bohmert Ferguson and Albert J. Bohmert, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Lee Mastrogeorge and Alex Reid of Los Angeles, Genna and Dennis James of Dallas, Ore. and Robin and John Sterling of Moorestown; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Ruth K. Ferguson of Spring Hill, Fla.; sister Janet Boswell of New York City and Ponte Verda, Fla.; grandchildren Spencer James of Dallas, Ore., and Kyle, Olivia and Brendan Sterling of Moorestown; nieces Gail Kiss of Deerfield, Ill. and Jill Knowles of Suwanee, Ga.; and former husband Harry Mastrogeorge of Los Angeles.
   Interment will be 1 p.m. May 17 at Lakeview Cemetery, South Main St., New Canaan, Conn.
   A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. May 18 at St. Luke’s Episoco9pal Church, 100 East Washington Avenue, Newtown, Pa.
