Princeton Borough
Sandra Vergara, 41, of Princeton was charged with driving while intoxicated at 2:08 a.m. Saturday following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street, police said. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on her own recognizance.
William Brown, 44, of Princeton was arrested 9:26 a.m. Friday on a New Jersey wanted person warrant from the Mercer County Probation Department with a bail of $4,105.42 following a pedestrian stop on Nassau Street, police said. He was later turned over to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
Linda Jones, 38, of Princeton, was arrested 12:34 p.m. Saturday on a warrant of $150 from Princeton Township Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Hawthorne Avenue, police said. She was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on bail.
Eduardo Perez, 25, of Trenton, was arrested 10:57 p.m. Friday on a warrant of $324 from Lawrence Township Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Witherspoon Street, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and committed in default of bail.
Robert Nevi McPherson, 23, of Hamilton, was arrested 9:36 a.m. Monday on warrants, totaling $6,100, from Princeton Township Municipal Court and Camden City Municipal Court following a pedestrian stop on Monument Drive, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and committed in default of bail.
Princeton Township
Jason Boyle, 20, of Princeton, was arrested 9 p.m. Saturday on warrants totaling $549 from West Windsor and Lawrence townships after being identified as an occupant in a vehicle in the parking area at Battlefield Park, which closes at dusk, police said. A check on Mr. Boyle revealed the warrants and also indicated that his driver’s license was suspended, police said. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and turned over to the West Windsor Police Department because he was unable to post bail.
Plainsboro
Sergio Garcia-Barrios, 37, of Philadelphia was charged with driving while intoxicated and numerous other motor vehicle violations following a traffic stop on Schalks Crossing Road at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they observed Mr. Garcia-Barrios’ car driving erratically and pulled him over and a subsequent investigation revealed him to be intoxicated. Police said they also found he had an active warrant out of Plainsboro Township for $1,000 for not appearing in court for another driving while intoxicated charge. Mr. Garcia-Barrios was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Facility for the warrant and because he had questionable immigration status, police said.
A Sayre Drive resident received a fake New Jersey driver’s license in the mail and reported it to Plainsboro police at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday. The license had all of the victim’s information on it, with a picture of an unknown male approximately 50 to 60 years of age, police said. The license came in an envelope postmarked New York City. The case is under investigation.
