Princeton Township
   Stephanie M. Hegyes, 49, of Redding Circle was charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident at Redding Circle about 8 a.m., Saturday. Police said they received a call that a vehicle drove over a curb and into a bush, damaging the bush. After arriving at the scene, police said they confirmed that the bush was run over and damaged and that Ms. Hegyes was under the influence of prescription medication. She was also charged with reckless driving and careless driving.
   Mizael Mendoza-Sanchez, 30, of John Street was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was seen driving the wrong direction on the Community Park School driveway onto Witherspoon Street about 4:14 a.m. Sunday, police reported. He was also charged with reckless driving, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, using a handheld cell phone while driving and being an unlicensed driver.
Montgomery
   A Route 518 resident reported that trim molding on a rear entry door was damaged between noon and 3 p.m. Wednesday. No entry was gained to the house. Damage was estimated at $10.
   Eddie Q. Turner, 22, of Trenton was charged with hindering his own apprehension following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206 about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Turner was a front seat passenger and when he was asked for identification said he had none and then provided a false name and other personal identification, police said. When his true identity was determined he was arrested, police said. He was also charged with not wearing a seat belt and was later released pending a court date.
   A Roanoke Road resident told police Wednesday that his personal identification was stolen and a cell phone account and cell phone number were established in Alabama. He said he became aware of the situation when he was contacted by a collection agency advising him that the cell phone and plan were several months overdue.
   A 37-year-old Montgomery bicyclist was struck by a car at the intersection of Orchard Road and Opossum Road about 7:50 a.m. Friday. Police said Orhan R. Gingis, 60, of Montgomery was driving north on Opossum Road and entered the intersection at Orchard Road, striking Paul Cresti of Montgomery who was cycling west on Orchard Road. Mr. Cresti complained of pain in his shoulder and was taken to University Medical Center at Princeton. Mr. Gingis was issued a summons for failure to stop or yield.
   Marc A. Staffieri of Mt. Ephraim was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance after his car was pulled over on northbound Route 206 about 4 p.m. Friday after he was seen not wearing a seat belt, police said. Several bags containing what appeared to be prescription drugs were located in the car, police said, and were later determined to be Oxycodone and Alprazolam. He did not have a prescription for the drugs, police said. It was also discovered that Mr. Staffieri was subject to arrest warrants from several municipalities totaling $6,344 and was driving with a suspended license, according to the report. He was lodged in the Somerset County jail in default of $20,000 bail based on the charges, police said.
   Lynda R. Talotta, 28, of Glendora was taken into custody on warrants issued by several South Jersey municipalities after the car in which she was a passenger in was stopped on Route 206 about 5:20 p.m. Friday, police said. She was released after posting $400 bail.
West Windsor
   Davinder Singh, 31, of Brookfield Way was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident following an investigation early Sunday morning. At around 2:36 a.m. police received a report of a vehicle that had struck a pole near 377 North Post Road and begin checking the surrounding roadways and parking lots in the area for the vehicle. At the Valero gas station on Route 571 and Alexander, police said they observed a Nissan sedan with Mr. Singh nearby, inspecting the front of his vehicle, which had been damaged. He was found to be intoxicated, police said.
   Benjamin Newton, 19, of South Brunswick was charged with driving while intoxicated, being under the legal age to consume, reckless driving, having improperly tinted windows and making an unsafe lane change following a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m. Friday on southbound Route 1 at Meadow Road. Police said they pulled over Mr. Newton’s car for having improperly tinted front windows, and found him to be intoxicated.
   Kendal Armstrong, 46, of Louisville, Ky. was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in his car following a traffic stop on Route 571 near Clarksville Road at 8:55 p.m. Saturday. Police said they had been on the lookout for a red full-size pickup truck that had been involved in an earlier accident on Route 1 at Washington Road, which turned out to be Mr. Armstrong’s vehicle. After stopping the vehicle for its involvement in the earlier accident, it was determined that Mr. Armstrong was intoxicated, police said.
   Angel Delgado, 23, of Hamilton was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in his car, failure to signal a turn, and failure to stop at a stop sign following a traffic stop on Heath Drive at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He was stopped for sudden and rapid braking, and making a quick turn without signaling and was found to be intoxicated, police said.
   Joseph Colatrella, 18, of Scotch Plains was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, having improperly tinted windows, and improper maintenance of lamps following a traffic stop on Route 1 at Meadow Road at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. After being stopped for having a hanging license plate light and improperly tinted windows, Mr. Colatrella was found to be intoxicated, police said.
   Rafael Castro, 19, of Hamilton was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and having improperly tinted windows following a traffic stop on southbound Route 1 at Meadow Road at 3 a.m. Saturday. He was stopped for driving extremely close to the rear of police car and then aggressively passing on the right, along with having improperly tinted windows, according to police, who said Mr. Castro was found to be intoxicated.
   An IBM laptop computer valued at $1,000 was stolen from an office in Suite 117 at 103 Carnegie Center between April 17 and Thursday, police said. The case is under investigation.
Plainsboro
   Joseph P. Oravsky III, 23, of Silver Court, Hamilton, was charged with driving while intoxicated after his 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stopped for traveling 94 mph on southbound Route 1 about 2:45 a.m. Friday, police reported. He refused to give breath samples, police said, and was also charged with refusal to submit to the breath test, reckless driving, speeding and failure to keep right. He was later released pending a court date.
   Joel Ortiz, 23, of Wyndhurst Drive was charged with driving while intoxicated after his 1998 Honda Civic was stopped on Ravens Crest Drive for making an unsafe lane change about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, police reported. The incident almost caused an accident, police said. He was also charged with refusal to take a breath test, reckless driving and making an unsafe lane change.
   A Pheasant Hollow Drive resident reported the door to his late-model Toyota was pried open while it was parked on his street between April 22 and 23. Stolen was a Garmin 320 GPS and a JVC compact disc player with a combined value of $600.
   A resident of Fox Run Drive reported that personal information was stolen in July 1999 and several fraudulent credit cards were opened. The victim reported that the theft became known only recently.
   An Aspen Drive resident reported that a sliding glass door was shattered between 1 p.m. April 21 and 10:30 a.m. Friday. Damage was estimated at $400.
