Harry C. Fair, 82, of Ewing Township, died Saturday at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, he had resided in Ewing Township for over 50 years.
He was a retired captain for the City of Trenton Fire Company Engine #1 after 24 years of service. He was a member of the Fireman’s Benevolent Association, Trenton Cyrus Masonic Lodge #5 F&AM in Pennington, and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Central Jersey. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Son of the late Charles E. and Margaret Grauer Fair and husband of the late Mildred Huber Fair, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary W. and Susan E. Fair of Haines City, Fla.; a brother, Charles E. Fair Jr. of Ewing; a sister, Jeanette J. Burke of Lower Makefield, Pa.; three grandchildren, Brian Gerba, Kenneth and Kevin Fair; and two great-grandchildren, Myles and Landon Fair.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with the Rev. William McQuoid officiating.
Burial will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery.
