Verna J. Mischke, 78, of Pennington died Saturday at home.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she had resided in Philadelphia for many years before moving to Bensalem, Pa., Yardley, Pa., and to Pennington 11 years ago.
She retired from W.B. Saunders in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a member of the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Ewing.
Daughter of the late George Dewey and Verna May Hevener Herrmann and wife of the late William B. Mischke, who died in 2005, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg B. and Maria Mischke of Kendall Park, and William B. Jr. and Ellen Mischke of Pipersville, Pa.; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Diane Herrmann of Pennsylvania; and two granddaughters, Kristina and Allyson Mischke.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 2220 Pennington Road, Ewing, with the Rev. Dan Whitener pastor officiating.
Burial will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
