Daughter lives in Montgomery
BRICK — Patricia Ann Minze died Thursday at Chelsea Assisted Living in Tinton Falls. She was 72.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a Brooklyn resident prior to moving to Brick in 1985.
She was a longtime secretary at Epiphany Catholic Church in Brick and had earlier worked at Chase Manhattan Bank where she met her husband. She was also a former secretary at the Good Shepherd School in Brooklyn.
She was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church and the Sea Shore Celiac Support Group.
She was a graduate of Catherine McCauley High School in Brooklyn.
Wife of the late Robert Minze, who died in 1981, sister of the late Gerry Coamey, she is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Robert L. Sparno of Montgomery and Diane Schreiber of Brick; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Ellen Minze of Middletown; sister Helen Barclay; and grandchildren Jennifer and Samantha Schreiber, Rob Jr., Chris and Caroline E. Sparno, and Maggie, Danny and Charlie Minze.
A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church, Brick.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
Viewing is 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick.
