PRINCETON — Donald W. Arons died Aug. 13 at University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 80.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Arons resided in Boca Raton, Fla., as well as Princeton.
He was a pioneer and visionary in the swimming pool and fiberglass industries.
His hobbies were art pottery, golf and dancing.
He was a member of the Greenacres Country Club, Boca Raton Resort & Club and Trenton Cyrus Lodge No. 5 Free and Accepted Masons.
Son of the late Morris and Mary Arons, he is survived by his wife, Edna Marval Arons; sons and daughters-in-law Mitchell Arons of Lawrence, Glenn and Pamela Arons of Potomac, Md., and Perry and Kathryn Arons of Princeton; stepson Todd Devin and his wife Raquel of Princeton; stepdaughter Kim Meltzer and her husband Robert of Chicago; grandchildren Zachary, Jordyn and Morgan Arons; and step-grandchildren Gregory, Vanessa and Todd Frank.
The funeral and burial were private in Princeton Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
