The Florence Township Fire Department is having its annual Fire Prevention Week Open House on Friday, Oct. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the firehouse, which is located on 401 Firehouse Lane (across from the Tollgate Condominiums). Come see Sparky the firedog and Freddie the fire truck robot. Other events scheduled for that evening are: blood pressure checks, firehouse tours, and a vehicle extrication demonstration.
