We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Hillsborough community for their support and generosity in a recent spaghetti dinner fundraiser held on Nov. 14th for the Chain of Hope, an organization which helps local families in a time of need with their fight against cancer.
The idea of the event was to raise funds while encouraging the boys of the Hillsborough Middle School soccer teams to show their appreciation and support for a great coach and his family.
Great thanks also go to Kristy Dickinson, a mom of one of the players, who thought of the fundraiser. She organized and executed the fundraiser with great skill and a phenomenal sense of direction.
The families of the players all helped and contributed to a great night of fun and food.
We would also like to thank a great number of local businesses whose donations and generosity allowed us to spend less money on supplies and contribute more to the Chain of Hope. They are: Angelo’s Pizzeria, Bella Pizza, The Carrettino, Cocca La, DeLuca’s, Hillsborough Star Diner, iHop, Joe’s Family Pizzeria and Restaurant, Petrock’s, Pizza Brothers, Sal’s Gourmet Pizza, Shop Rite of Hillsborough, Soriano’s Catering, and Wegmans.
We also thank all the Hillsborough residents and others who came out and supported the event with enthusiasm and generosity. It truly is a great feeling to be part of such a great community.
