Prudential New Jersey Properties names top associates
   Prudential New Jersey Properties’ Hillsborough office named June Fulton as its Sales Associate of the Month for August and October.
   Diane Ormsby won the distinction for the month of September.
   The award is given to associates for high sales performance and superb customer service.
nbsp;  The company also announced Hillsborough resident Michele Mandic has joined the Jannone Team in the company’s Martinsville office. In her new role, Ms. Mandic will work with home buyers and sellers throughout central New Jersey.

   With nearly five years of real estate experience, Ms. Mandic is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, New Jersey Association of REALTORS®, and the Hunterdon / Somerset Association of REALTORS®. Actively involved in the community, she was also a Girl Scout leader with the Rolling Hills Council’s Troop 367 from 2006 through 2008.
Artisan Group helps rebuild Gulf homes
   Hillsborough-based Artisans Group and four member companies of the Central New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry spent a week helping families trying to rebuild their homes damaged by hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico.
   The group joined BucksMont Katrina Relief, in conjunction with City Team (cityteam.org) (cjnari.org), plus four companies from PA NARI and two from Chicago NARI for a week of rebuilding homes and a community food center from Bay St. Louis to Carriere, Miss., during the week of Nov. 10.
   ”We met people who had experienced an extraordinary event by surviving Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Gustav, and in the process; being grateful for the basics, and showing resilience, and a proactive attitude, that the rest of us should admire,” Artisans Group owner Wayne Baruch said. “We saw people whose home had been swept away and lost everything they owned, eaten in a soup kitchen and lived in a tent for months, before moving into a trailer where they still live three years later.”
   Mr. Baruch said the number of homes still uninhabitable “was astounding.”
   The Artisans Group is a Hillsborough-based builder and remodeler, specializing in historic restoration, and repairing structural, insect, and water damage.
Weichert top sales listings associates
   Dara Johnston, branch manager of Weichert Realtors® Hillsborough office announced recent honors for the office’s sales associates.
   The office recognized Tom Greco for leading the office in sales, units and volume, and Lenore Hager for top listings, in the month of September. Mr. Greco has been a Hillsborough resident for 25 years, specializes in Hunterdon and Somerset counties, and is a member of Weichert’s Million Dollar Sales and Marketed Clubs.
   Ms. Hager has been a Weichert sales associate for over 28 years, and is a certified real estate instructor. She is also a member of Weichert’s 2007 Million Dollar Marketed Club.
   In the month of October, Adam Chu lead the office in sales, total units and total volume, while Patricia Ostapovich led the office in listings. Both are members of Weichert’s Sales and Marketed Clubs. Additionally, Mr. Chu is a member of Weichert’s Ambassador’s Club, an honor given to individuals who ranked amongst the top 2 percent of Weichert sales associates in 2007.
Irene Wu joins health center
   Hillsborough resident Irene Y. Wu, MD, has joined the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey Community Health Center (VNACJ CHC).
   Dr. Wu graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She advanced to UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, and graduated with her medical degree in 2005. She has conducted research at Weill-Medical College of Cornell University, New York, and with the Department of Neurosurgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
   Dr. Wu recently worked with the Hunterdon Family Medicine Residency Program in Flemington, New Jersey, as a PGY-3 Resident in Family Medicine, where she provided acute impatient medical care on medical wards and ICU, and performed outpatient medicine in a continuity family health center and in subspecialty offices, such as cardiology, hematology/oncology, and infectious diseases.
   ”When I went into medicine I knew I wanted to work within the family construct and treat patients of all ages,” said Dr. Wu. “VNACJ Community Health Center offers me a great opportunity to do this. I will be able to provide care for children as well as the elderly.”
   Dr. Wu has also participated in many activities and personal ventures. She provided medical clearance examinations for athletes in the 2003 New Jersey Special Olympics, and organized an outreach to troubled teens in 2004 with the Middlesex County Youth Shelter. She also participated in a medical mission trip in 2005 to help the indigent in Mozambique, Africa.
   ”Dr. Irene Wu brings a new vitality to the Health Center practice. Her medical training provides for a very well rounded physician, both from the clinical and technology perspective,” VNACJ CHC Executive Director Gary Linington said. “She assimilated into the Health Centers practice in a very short time and has become an integral part of our provider team.”
   Dr. Wu will be providing comprehensive primary care at each of the VNACJ Community Health Center locations in Asbury Park, Red Bank, Keansburg and Keyport on appointed days.
