Ricardo Casadiego, 52, of Regency Apartments, was charged with aggravated assault and driving while intoxicated Monday.
Police said they responded to a report of a physical dispute at 5:15 p.m. on Tennyson Drive, and found that Mr. Casadiego had assaulted a female, who had a fractured index finger and a swollen eye. The victim was taken to Centra State Hospital.
Police said Mr. Casadiego also was seen driving on Saint James Place, swerving and nearly losing control of the vehicle.
He also was charged with harassment, refusal to submit to breath tests, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to keep right, failure to signal turn, failure to maintain lane of travel and failure to wear a seat belt.
He was released on $1,000 bail.
Robert Dougherty, 19, of Kellington Drive, was charged Feb. 3 with possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated.
Police said Mr. Dougherty was driving west on Route 33 near Route 133 at 11:50 p.m. when he approached a police vehicle from the rear that was traveling in the same direction. Police said Mr. Dougherty tailgated the police car for a distance and then passed it.
Police said a search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of loose marijuana.
Mr. Dougherty also was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia, being under the influence of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, careless driving, following too close and failure to exhibit driver’s license.
Warren Wright, 27, of Wynbrook Apartments, was charged Feb. 5 with driving while intoxicated.
Police said they observed Mr. Wright weaving at 12:35 a.m. in the westbound lane of Dutch Neck Road near Scott Road.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane of travel and maintenance of lamps.
Ryanne Screws, 26, of Hightstown, was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated.
Police said they responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of East Windsor Floor Covering on Route 130, where Ms. Screws had struck a parked car. Witnesses said she had been driving erratically before striking the car, according to police.
Police said their investigation indicated that Ms. Screws had been taking prescription drugs.
She also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving and DWI in a school zone.
Peter Duran, 35, of Princeton Junction was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated.
Police said an officer observed Mr. Duran driving at a fast speed at 8:50 p.m. on Twin Rivers Drive, run through a stop sign at the intersection of Twin Rivers Drive and Milford Road, and nearly strike the curb while turning onto Milford Road.
He also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, DWI in a school zone, failure to stop and uninsured vehicle.
Julshale Aughenbaugh, 21, of Stockton Street, was charged Tuesday with shoplifting.
Police said Mr. Aughenbaugh was seen at 3:15 p.m. bagging $126.89 worth of groceries at Shop Rite without paying for the items.
A 17-year-male, of Disbrow Road, and a 16-year-old male, of Cedarville Road, were charged with theft and trespassing Feb. 7.
Police said they observed the two males running across Twin Rivers Driver near Farrington Place at 8 p.m., shortly after a resident of Hidden Springs Lane had reported several pieces of luggage had been stolen off from his driveway. The resident said he had left the luggage out for a short time while preparing to pack his car for a trip.
The officer stopped the teens and determined that they had stolen the property. The luggage was recovered in a wooded area near Hidden Springs Lane and all of the property was recovered.
An employee of McGraw Hill reported that his wallet was stolen from his office desk between 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 3. The victim valued the wallet at $15 and said that $350 in cash was inside.
An employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken reported his black Avirex jacket was stolen from a table in the eating area between 4:45 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. on Feb. 4. The victim valued the jacket at $300 and said that $30 in cash was inside it.
