Coach Probasco fills out ticket

Chris Probasco, of New Egypt
My name is Chris Probasco and I am running for the Plumsted Board of Education.
I have lived in New Egypt for 21 years with my wife and three children, who presently attend Plumsted schools.
As an active community member, I have coached recreation soccer, baseball, basketball and Pop Warner football. I served on the New Egypt Pop Warner board for several years and was also a member of the Plumsted Township Economic Development Committee.
I am very involved in my children’s education and have been attending Plumsted’s school board meetings for the last 13 years. I have always been a vocal and proud supporter of our schools, our children and our community. I have never been afraid to standup for what is right, while at the same time voice my concerns when they are not.
My professional career includes 26 years at IBM, as an electronic technician, systems and procedures analyst, systems engineer, and software sales representative. These experiences have allowed me to teach and mentor staff members, develop curriculum and testing material for professional certification, coordinate and work with many teams on small and large projects, write proposals, and negotiate and finalize contracts, while staying within the budget constraints of my clients.
My background, continuous commitment to our children, mediation, and leadership skills will be an esteemed asset to the students and community of Plumsted Township.
I am running with Jon Hauge and Keith Buckalew. Together our attributes will provide the school board with an environment for collaboration. We will listen to the community’s ideas and concerns. Our years of dedication, experience and knowledge of the Plumsted schools will help provide all New Egypt students with the best quality education, while being fiscally responsible, even in these difficult economic times.
