BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP: Woman hurt in hit-and-run

By Geoffrey Wertime, Staff Writer
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Police are looking for a driver they say hit a 19-year-old woman and did not stop on July 16.
Police said an officer found Lisa A. Krzywicki of nearby Grover Avenue, in Trenton, while on patrol on Route 206 and Route 130 at 2:50 a.m., just after she had been struck by an unidentified vehicle. Ms. Krzywicki was lying in the right southbound lane and no other vehicles were present, police said.
The Virtua Mobile Intensive Care Unit from Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly and the Hope Hose First Aid Squad arrived and transported Ms. Krzywicki to Capital Health Center in Trenton, where she was listed Friday in critical condition with injuries to her leg and face, police said.
Police said they believe Ms. Krzywicki had left the Denny’s restaurant on the northbound side of Route 206 and crossed the northbound lanes of the highway before being hit by a vehicle that did not stop.
Police have not yet identified the vehicle, and they are speaking with Denny’s patrons as part of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bordentown Township Police Department at 609-298-4300.
