Princeton Borough
After a vehicle stop on Washington Road on Sept. 30 at 7:24 p.m., Emily S. Bradford-Sytsma, 23, of New Brunswick was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Bradford-Sytsma was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released on her own recognizance.
Paul E. Darden, 44, of Trenton, was arrested on Oct. 1 at 12:17 a.m. and charged with possession of burglar tools and for being in possession of a bike valued at $1,500 recently stolen from a locked bike rack. Subsequent to investigating a report of a man looking into windows of an apartment building, Mr. Darden was arrested in possession of the bike and bolt cutters.
Mr. Darden also had several active warrants from Trenton City, Ewing Township and Hamilton Township municipal courts, in the amount of $3,743, $750 and $500 respectively. Mr. Darden was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and placed in a holding cell. Mr. Darden was subsequently transported to the Mercer County Correction Center in default of $4,993 bail, plus another $2,500 bail issued by Princeton Borough court.
On Oct. 3, at 12:59 a.m., Langford B. Stuber, 22, of Prosper, Texas, was stopped on Witherspoon Street for making a right turn on red, and subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Stuber was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released to a sober friend.
On Oct. 3 at 1:41 a.m., R.J. Jenei, 45, of Trenton, was stopped for failure to signal and failure to keep right, police reported, and subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Jenei was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released to a sober friend.
Following a motor vehicle stop on Bayard Lane at 3:18 p.m. on Oct. 3, Barry P. Yanicek, 38, of Piscataway, was arrested for having a $430 warrant from Pennington Borough Municipal Court. Mr. Yanicek was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.
At 11:57 p.m. on Oct. 3 Philip N. Burgess Jr., 47, of Princeton was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign and subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Burgess was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released to a sober family member.
Princeton Township
Kimberly Vine, 38, of Princeton was charged with driving while intoxicated and issued multiple summonses following a stop of her 2007 Audi Q7 on Mason Drive at 11:16 p.m. on Sept. 30. Following the stop, according to police, Ms. Vine had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about her and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Ms. Vine was charged with DWI, DWI in a school zone, reckless driving and failure to exhibit documents.
At 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 2 police stopped a 2003 Lexus for speeding on Valley Road. The driver, Sharon Perlman, 45, of Princeton was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and arrested, according to police. Ms. Perlman was charged with speeding, DWI, DWI within 1,000 feet of a school zone and reckless driving. Ms. Perlman was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and released to a family member.
Following a motor vehicle stop of a 2002 Hyundai Accent on Princeton-Kingston Road at 5 p.m. on Oct. 5 Ismael Gaspar, 22, of Princeton was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension, driving without a license and driving while suspended. According to police, following the stop Mr. Gaspar told police that he did not have his driver’s license and provided the arresting officer with a false name. While he was looking for identification in his wallet, the officer observed several documents with the name Ismael Gaspar on them, according to police. After admitting to being Mr. Gaspar, Mr. Gaspar was arrested.
West Windsor
A resident reported that their wallet was stolen while dining at the Nassau Park Panera Bread restaurant at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6. The victim reported that credit cards in the wallet were later used for purchases at a Best Buy store.
Kazbek Pukhaev, 24, of Ohio Avenue, Trenton, was charged with shoplifting at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, after he tried to leave the Lowes home improvement store on Route 1 with a DeWalt drill valued at $169.
Derek J. Delorenzo Jr., 19, of Route 1 in West Windsor, was charged with shoplifting and simple assault at 5:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, after he tried to take a BluRay disc valued at $29.99 from Barnes and Noble at the Princeton Marketfair. While exiting the store he pushed an employee who had confronted him about the theft, police said.
Princeton BMW reported that someone shattered the rear windows of two BMW vehicles and removed the wheels from one between 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, and 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. The wheels and tires are valued at $6,283 and the windows are valued at $1,373.
Jason Minahan, 29, of West Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at Clarksville and Quakerbridge roads. Mr. Minahan was stopped for failing to maintain a lane.
Montgomery
Gregory Reading, 22, of Pennington faces drug charges in connection with a traffic stop Saturday night on county Route 601. He was pulled over for an equipment violation, and an investigation revealed that he was allegedly under the influence and in possession of marijuana, police said. He was arrested and faces charges of being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, and maintenance of lamps. He is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court.
Plainsboro
Someone stole a computer valued at $1,000 from a construction site at 100 Plainsboro Road Sometime Saturday, Sept. 18.
An Aspen Drive resident reported on Wednesday, Oct. 7, that someone threw a rock through the rear window of their four-door Lexus SI 300. Repairs are expected to cost approximately $500.
Donald A. Mcardle, 23, of Monroe, was arrested by Franklin Township Police on a $500 warrant out of Plainsboro Township at 9 p.m. Monday, Oct 5. Mr. Mcardle was wanted on charges related to a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Plainsboro. Mr. Mcardle was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center on $500 bail.
