The Monmouth County Law Enforcement Explorers Academy, Freehold, recently held graduation for its 12th class consisting of 14 men and women between the ages of 14-20. West Long Branch resident Robert Knott was the local graduate. Explorers typically assist with traffic and crowd control during large municipal events such as fairs and parades. The Explorers’ program teaches skills such as accident investigation techniques, CPR, water safety and firearm safety.
