FIELDSBORO: Woman injured in house fire

    FIELDSBORO — A woman was injured, and her two children were unharmed escaping a fire in their Fourth Street house Dec. 15, state police said.
    State police said Rashmikab Jackson, 31, was transported by helicopter to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia after escaping the blaze.
    According to state police, the fire broke out at Ms. Jackson’s home just before 10 p.m.
    State troopers responded to the fire, and Bordentown City fire and EMS squads were on the scene, police said. Police said she was treated by local EMS, then transported to the hospital.
    The children were uninjured, police said. Their ages were not available but police said both were minors.
    An investigation by the state police arson and bomb unit was not complete Tuesday. Information on Ms. Jackson’s condition was not available.
