On May 20 at 7 p.m. the Northern Burlington High School Band will hold its Spring Concert in the 500 building of the High School. Please come out and hear these talented students perform.
On May 27 at 7 p.m. the Northern Burlington Middle School Band will hold its Spring Concert in the Cafetorium of the Northern Burlington Middle School. Please come out and show your support to these talented students.
Congratulation to the Northern Burlington County Regional High School Wind Ensemble for being one of 12 bands in the state of New Jersey to participate in the NJ State Band Gala.
The Northern Burlington High School STOP club will host a community wide movie night under the stars on Friday, May 21, at 8 p.m. Come out to watch “Toy Story” on a 20-foot inflatable screen. The event will be held on the softball field at the Northern Burlington Regional High School. Tickets are $5 per person or $12 for a family (two adults and children under 10). Ticket price includes a beverage. Refreshments will be sold. Don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Northern Burlington Soccer Club is looking for Boys and Girls, ages 8-18 interested in playing year around competitive Travel Soccer. Registration and tryouts are Thursday, May 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mansfield Elementary School Fields. Columbus will be thinking green during the 72nd annual Field Day Events to be held on Saturday, June 12, in the village of Columbus. A parade will start the day’s festivities at 1 p.m. followed by events in the park. Keep the “Green Theme” in mind when participating in the parade. Burlington County Hadassah Chapter is sponsoring a Fun Day, with a choice of three days, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, June 7, 8 or 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Dolphin diner, Rte. 130 North, Burlington, NJ. For $20 per ticket, attendees may enjoy a continental breakfast, play card or Mah Jong games, with a break for luncheon, choosing from four entrees, desserts and beverages. The Mansfield Township Veterans Association will conduct a memorial service at the Veterans Gazebo in Community Park behind the Mansfield Township Municipal Complex in Columbus on Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. All are invited to attend the ceremony to honor all the brave men and women who have served our country. A “Walk of Honor” is planned at the Gazebo with the installation of engraved bricks preserving the memory of loved veterans.
