JAMESBURG — There is still time to purchase spaces for the Town-Wide Yard Sale scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25.
Residents and non-residents may participate, but non-residents must buy table space at the Presbyterian Church of Jamesburg’s parking lot, 175 Gatzmer Ave., from the Jamesburg Historical Association by Wednesday Sept. 22 for $15.
Residents may have their own yard sales at their homes.
Elliott Stroul, a deacon at the church and president of the Jamesburg Revitalization Coalition, said that the one-day yard sale will run concurrently with the borough farmers market, also located in the parking lot of the church.
”It’s a well-anticipated event,” he said of the yard sale.
The Historical Association and the Presbyterian Church are cosponsoring the yard sale.
The majority of proceeds from vendor fees will go to the Presbyterian Church of Jamesburg food pantry, and the rest will go to the Historical Association, Mr. Stroul said.
The farmer’s market in the church’s parking lot is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, for the next three Saturdays. It will close for the season Oct. 2.
