Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth announces its upcoming Israeli Art Expo 2010, which will take place from Wednesday, October 13 through Sunday, October 17, at the Temple.
The Expo will highlight works from the Safrai Fine Art Gallery of Jerusalem, Israel, and will include works in a variety of media and styles by over 100 contemporary and classic Israeli artists, available for both exhibit and sale.
The Expo begins at 7 PM on Wednesday with a gala opening reception, followed by a different special event every day of the Expo. The exhibition itself, curated by Menachem Safrai of the Safrai Gallery, is open for viewing and purchase on Wednesday from 7 to 10 PM, on Thursday from 1 to 5 PM, on Friday from 11 AM to 4 PM, on Saturday from 8 to 11 PM, and on Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Other times are available by appointment for interested parties, through the Temple office.
Safrai Fine Art Gallery was established in 1935, and has been bringing works of Israeli artists to museums and private collections around the world since then.
