X-Cel Swimmers had top eight finishes at the 13-and-over Silver Long Course Championships at Rutgers University.
In the women’s 13-14 age group Cindy Shi placed first in the 50 free (29.92) and 800 free (10:16.06), as well as second in the 100 free (1:04.51). Carla Tuan placed seventh in the 200 IM (2:41.94). Cynthia Wu placed fourth in the 200 free (2:21.89).
In the women’s 15-and-over age group, Jennifer Enos placed eighth in the 200 back (2:38.30). Marisa Giglio placed sixth in the 200 breast (3:00.18). Emily Koyen placed sixth in the 200 back (2:37.38) and seventh in the 400 free (4:51.29).
In the men’s 13-14 group, Jeffrey Chan placed fourth in the 200 free (2:17.02). Ethan Vaca placed fifth in the 800 free (10:06.59) and in the 400 free (4:56.22). David Xin placed in the third in the 200 breast (2:58.79) and seventh in the 100 breast (1:22.97). Colburn Yu placed fifth in the 100 breast (1:22.97).
In the men’s 15-and-over age group, Harun Filipovic placed second in the 200 back (2:25.31). Addison Hebert placed third in the 100 breast (1:16.69), fifth in the 400 IM (5:09.12), and fifth in 200 IM (2:25.58).
