NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.:The Saint Peter’s University Hospital Auxiliary has been presented with the Outstanding Community Organization Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, New Jersey chapter, Toms River.
The award was presented to Carleen Fuhschein, former president of the Saint Peter’s University Hospital Auxiliary. Eight auxiliary members were present, as was Emily Lyssikatos, executive director of the Saint Peter’s University Hospital Foundation, Michael Loch, director of the foundation, and other foundation board members.
The Saint Peter’s University Hospital Foundation has supported the programs at Saint Peter’s University Hospital for more than 100 years. The auxiliary is comprised of more than 140 members from all walks of life – including nurses, teachers, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and moms – who hail from numerous communities in central New Jersey.
