The Somerset County Federation of Democratic Women is very pleased to invite the public to a Tea with Eleanor Roosevelt on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 in the evening. The event will be held at the Hillsboro Point Clubhouse located at 10 Chandler Drive in Hillsborough. Rene Goodwin of the American Historical Theatre will be featured as Eleanor Roosevelt. Tickets are $25 and seating is limited so reservations are necessary. Tickets can be obtained from SCFDW c/o Carol Brady, 9 Lee Way, Somerville, NJ 08876.
The event supports women candidates running in Somerset County – Linda Kragie for mayor of Bernardsville, Karen Carroll for council in Bound Brook, Maureen Vella for township committee in Hillsborough, Louise Wilson and Neena Singh for township committee in Montgomery, Mary Forbes for council in North Plainfield, Jane Kobuta for council in Somerville, Kathy Connor and Michele Duh for council in South Bound Brook.
