‘Rockin’ the Shore,” a benefit auction for two local causes, will be held at Elements in Sea Bright Dec. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m.
All proceeds from the charity event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch and The Christina Walsh Fund.
Walsh, a wife and mother and a special education teacher, lost her battle with breast cancer on Aug. 25. Friends encouraged the Walsh family to create the foundation in her memory.
Some of the auction items include an autographed guitar by Jon Bon Jovi, hand-written song lyrics by Glen Burtnick, a surfboard signed by Wingnut, signed footballs from former N.Y. Giant Howard Cross and the New England Patriots, a Simple Plan-autographed skateboard and other items.
Tickets for the event are $25 and are available at Elements lounge or at 2355 West Bangs Ave. in Neptune, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
