Dr. M. David Atkin of Princeton and Lorraine Kulick of Montgomery were married on June 20 in a joyful celebration at the Chauncy Conference Center, Lawrence Township. Nine children and 16 grandchildren from their combined families participated in the ceremony, as other relatives and friends applauded the union.
The ceremony was performed by Dr. Atkin’s longtime friend, Judge Philip S. Carchman of Princeton.
Dr. Atkin, a private practice pediatrician in Princeton for 40 years, "retired" to pursue a second career in the treatment of learning disorders in children and adolescents at the Hunterdon Medical Center Child Development Center. He was recently widowed.
Ms. Kulick, a director of statewide organizations, utilizes those skills in a partnership, Executive Directors, LLC. She is also the former mayor of Manalapan.
The couple will make their home in Princeton and intend to share their love of family as well as their passions for biking, hiking, arts and music.
