Sam Lopez had 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Rams 41-30 win over Nottingham Friday, while Qwanza Harper had 11 points and seven rebounds. Taylor Chappell added eight points and Ryan Borden had seven.
Borden threw in 21 and Harper added 14 but the Rams dropped a 61-59 decision at Woodbridge Saturday to drop to 8-5. Cole Fusik added nine points and Chappell had eight. GIRLS BASKETBALL
Jenna Marcus had 15 points but Nottingham took an 80-39 win over the Rams last Friday.
Erin Sobkowiak had 10 points, Marcus eight and Lindsay Redfern six in the Rams 37-26 win over Westhampton Tech. Sobkowiak added 12 in a 65-28 loss to West Windsor North Tuesday. WRESTLING
The Rams got a big 39-31 win over Lawrence last Wednesday, getting pins from Joey DeChristofaro (189), Marcus Lawrence (215), Angel Guzman (Hwt), Kevin Medina (119) and Sean LeBlanc (125) and decisions from Gavin Edgerton (171), Fabian Tobito (135) and Chris Boyle (145). Lawrence, Guzman and Medina all pinned in under 30 seconds and Guzman won in 13 seconds.
Hightstown took a 53-9 win over Nottingham Saturday, getting pins from Jeremy Parkhurst (112), Nicholas Mitchell (152), Edgerton (160), DeChristofaro (171), Aaron Hernandez (215) and Angel Guzman (Hwt); a technical fall from Chris Boyle (140), and decisions from LeBlanc (119), Medina (125), Johnny Cox (130) and Lawrence (189).
Hightstown also had a 70-6 win over Holy Cross Saturday as Medina, Michael Knauer (135), Boyle, DeChristofaro and Hernandez all won by pins, while Cox, Tobito and Josh Parkhurst won decisions.
The Rams beat West Windsor North, 69-4, on pins by LeBlanc, Josh Parkhurst, Mitchell and DeChristofaro and decisions by Cox, Boyle and Edgerton. BOYS SWIMMING
The Rams dropped a 96-74 decision to Steinert last Thursday despite three wins by Scott Vitabile in the 200 free (2:12.9), 100 fly (1:06.33) and 400 free relay (4:10.84). Brian Hubbard was also a triple winner in the 100 back (1:09.85), 200 medley relay (2:08.16) and 400 free relay, while Steven Vitabile and Eric Hubbard were both in the 200 MR and 400 FR. Bobby Raymond filled out the 200 MR.
B. Hubbard took second in the 200 free, E. Hubbard was second in the 100 breast and third in the 200 IM, Steven Vitabile was second in the 500 free, Raymond took second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free, Alex Glasser was second in the 100 free and Gideon Van Kampen was second in the 100 fly.
Unbeaten Princeton took a 105-65 win over the Rams Tuesday although Scott Vitabile (100 fly, 400 free relay) and Steve Vitabile (500 free, 400 free relay) took firsts. Brian Hubbard and Van Kampen rounded out the relay team. GIRLS SWIMMING
Stephanie Lauer won the 200 IM (2:46.3) and Aziza Ahmed won the 100 back (1:20.98) but the Rams dropped a 115-55 decision to Steinert last Thursday. Nicolette Hankh took third in the 200 free, Ahmed was second in the 50 free, Colleen Murphy was third in the 100 free, and Jen Lauer took second in the 500 free and 100 breast.

Tyler Schickner had a goal and Goldfarb added an assist in Hightstown’s 8-1 loss to Princeton last Wednesday. Kevin Risch had a goal and an assist, Schickner had a goal and Grayson Petti added an assist in Hightstown’s 5-2 loss to Steinert Saturday. Sam Badillo made 33 saves in goal.
