Visitors are invited to stop by Historic Walnford in Upper Freehold Township Feb. 12 when residents can drop in to learn about historic valentines and make their own unique expression of love at a Valentine’s Day program between 1 and 4 p.m.
Historic Walnford is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. when visitors can watch winter birds or simply appreciate more than 200 years of social, industrial and agricultural history. Horse Park to host ‘Jersey Fresh’ event
Nancy Hutcheson, president of the Horse Park of New Jersey, Upper Freehold Township, announced that the “Jersey Fresh CCI/CCI” will be held May 31-June 4 at the Horse Park. This will be the fourth year for the CCI** and the second year for the CCI*** at the Upper Freehold facility.
The new event manager will be Jane Cory. Cory began eventing in 1971 at the novice and training level. She was long listed for the World Equestrian games and competed in advanced level events through 1991. She manages and co-owns Pleasant Hollow Farm in Coopersburg, Pa., where she handles the daily operation of the farm with more than 60 horses.
