Pablo Ramos, 25, of Trenton, was charged Saturday with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and failing to observe a red light.
A patrol officer stopped Mr. Ramos’ vehicle about 7:10 p.m. after he saw it go through a red light at the intersection of Route 130 and Main Street, police said.
During the course of the investigation, the officer saw evidence that narcotics may be present, and he recovered a small quantity of marijuana, police said.
Christina Alioto, 33, of Hamilton, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath testing, speeding, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.
A patrol officer stopped Ms. Alioto’s vehicle about 1 a.m. after he saw it traveling south on Route 130 at an accelerated speed, police said.
During the traffic stop, the officer detected evidence of intoxication, and Ms. Alioto was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said.
