Local Teens Coordinate and Run 2011 Purim Carnival at Congregation Kehilat Shalom on March 20th

By Stacey Anderson
Belle Mead, NJ – Teens from Congregation Kehilat Shalom Hebrew High Program, Kehi-Loft, will plan, coordinate and run the Annual Family Purim Carnival on March 20th from 12 – 2 pm.
“In the past, the religious school & Ritual committees would plan and execute the carnival, says Judy Weitze, Religious School Committee Chairperson, but last year Kehi-Loft approached us and wanted to take on the project.”
Our teens have lots of carnival games planned and tons of prizes to give away.   Come in costume (adults too!) and earn extra prize tickets!  Pizza and hamantashen available. Everyone is welcome to celebrate Purim with us.
Congregation Kehilat Shalom is located at 253 Griggstown Rd., Belle Mead.  Cost is $10 for lunch and carnival, $5 for carnival only. For more information, contact Robin at [email protected], (908) 359-0420.
