Township
The police and fire departments responded to a vehicle fire at 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Police received multiple 911 calls reporting the fire on Route 206 near Cherry Hill Road. The Princeton Fire Department extinguished the flames and determined the cause was likely a fuel leak. The driver, Waldemar Bonilla-Ruiz, 37, of Trenton, was not seriously injured but was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton as a precautionary measure. The vehicle a pickup truck belonging to Lakeside Towing of Trenton was towed. The road was closed for about 45 minutes. Additional responders included the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad, the Princeton Bureau of Fire Safety and the Mercer County Fire Police.
Angela Cortese, 58, of Princeton, was arrested for an active traffic warrant. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at 9:48 a.m. on Wednesday on Princeton-Kingston Road when they found Ms. Cortese had a warrant for $186 out of Princeton Borough. She was later released after posting bail.
Plainsboro
Police are investigating and incident of criminal mischief at the Sharbell Development Corporation on Schalks Crossing Road. Between 11 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday, someone had shattered the interior lobby window of building seven. The estimated damage is $300.
Police are investigating an incident of arson and criminal mischief at the Hunters Glen apartments. Between 2:45 and 11:45 p.m. on June 16, someone had burned a small area of siding and the seeing glass of one of the residential doors in the breezeway of building 35 on Hunters Glen Drive. A small pile of papers was also burned and placed on the ground of the breezeway.
Quail Ridge management reported an incident of criminal mischief. Between 4:30 p.m. on June 17 and 3 p.m. on Monday, someone damaged the interior door frame of a storage shed located on the above grounds. The estimated damage is $250. * * *
A resident of Ravens Crest Drive reported an incident of criminal mischief. Between 10:30 p.m. on Monday and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, someone shattered the front window of the resident’s 2002 Toyota. The estimated damage is $300. Police are investigating.
Montgomery
Nelson Mudida, 23, of South Brunswick, Shantel Lige, 20, of Monmouth Junction and a juvenile, were arrested and charged with trespassing in the Skillman Village. Police found the individuals near 4 a.m. on June 10 entering one of the buildings, which was clearly posted as a no trespassing area. No damage was done and nothing was taken.
Twelve people, including three juveniles, were arrested and charged with defiant trespassing. At 11:50 p.m. on Monday, police were patrolling the Skillman Village when they observed three unoccupied vehicles parked along the east side of building 18. Later, police saw 10 people climb out of an open window and two people walking away from the buildings who later admitted to being inside with others. The following adults were charged: Thomas Pindulic, 19, of Doylestown Pa., Andrew Vaneekelen, 19, of Chalfont, Pa., Bridget Linskey, 20, of Newtown, Pa., Rachel Lake, 20, of Fayetteville, N.C., Megan Millevoi1, 18, of Newtown, Pa., Christine Youard, 19, of Hopewell, Jonathan Padilla, 21, of Newtown, Pa., John Hill III, 21, of Pennington, Daniel Corbett, 19, of Philadelphia. They were later released, pending court. The juveniles will have the complaints reviewed by the Somerset County Prosecutors Office.
