A new Art of Strength Training Center, featuring a unique fitness and conditioning system that can be easily adapted to the needs of everyone regardless of age, gender or physical stature, will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, June 18, from 2:00 to 7:00PM at Keystone Corner, 61C Mountain Boulevard in Warren, NJ.
“The new Art of Strength Training Center will feature the dynamic Punch Kettlebell essentials program,” says Valerie Pawlowski, co-owner of Punch Kettlebell Gym in Far Hills and co-owner with business partner Lisa Fleischhacker of Warren of the new, larger facility in Warren. “The program incorporates the principle of ‘Be R.O.P.A.’ – which is an acronym for ‘Resilient, Outstanding, and Perform with Attitude.’ Recently featured on Good Morning America, R.O.P.A. dynamically engages the whole body and is appropriate for individuals of all ages and abilities.”
A completely safe form of exercise, Be R.O.P.A. is a guided system with a series of progressions suitable to every individual’s unique needs. It will be introduced and exclusively offered at the new Art of Strength Training Center. “The system creates dynamic patterns using ropes, bandit loops and the body itself,” Pawlowski explains. “Accompanied with vibrating music and led by over-the-top instructors, Be R.O.P.A. is a fun workout unlike any other. Integrating resistance, body weight and elevation training with low-impact cardiovascular exercise, it gets kids and adults alike up and moving in challenging yet comfortable patterns and produces the most significant results in the shortest amount of time.”
Be R.O.P.A. is designed to benefit everyone. “Professional sports teams like the Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics have incorporated it into their training regimens,” says Pawlowski. “The Detroit Lions are training heavily with Art of Strength during the current NFL strike in order to be stronger, faster and have fewer injuries when they eventually return to scheduled play. Because it is a form of low-impact training, it can be performed even if an athlete is injured. Athletes from various area schools already train at our Far Hills facility, and we plan to expand our outreach with the new Art of Strength Training Center in Warren. We even have a program called Play Out Loud especially for younger kids. They understand the free-flowing ropes as a method of play and it really gets them moving.”
The new Art of Strength Training Center will also have an apparel shop carrying lululemon, a popular line of fitness wear for men and women. At the shop, customers can purchase clothing and punch kettlebells as well as Be R.O.P.A. equipment and instructional DVD’s. New clients are encouraged to participate in a free orientation session, during which they will experience a sampling of this unique type of training.
