THUMBS UP and good luck to Agnes Golding who is retiring as director of student services for the Princeton school system.
”In the last six years, Dr. Golding’s strong combination of intellect, expertise and fairness has brought a balance and very positive direction to this critically important facet of the district,” said Superintendent Judy Wilson.
As for Dr. Golding, the past 22 years have been all about putting the students first.
During her time in the system she has been a school psychologist and a child study team coordinator at Riverside School.
She has created in-district programs for the schools, added programs for autistic children and promoted greater use of technology for instruction and learning.
She says she will miss the job and doesn’t want to stop working, but wants more time to herself and her family.
She’s also thinking about getting back into sailing.
We say, “Prepare to come about!”
