POLICE BLOTTER: July 29 issue

Princeton Borough
   Jared Johnson, 19, of South Brunswick, and Shamera Smith, 22, of Franklin Park, were arrested and charged with contempt of court and hindering apprehension for providing false information to police during an investigation. They had been stopped for driving with an inoperable headlight on Riverside Drive at 11:56 p.m. on Monday, July 25. Mr. Smith had an active warrant from Roselle Park for $500. Both Mr. Johnson and Ms. Smith allegedly lied about their identity. They were released, pending a court date on August 1.
   James Raper, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with contempt of court after his vehicle was stopped for obstructing traffic on Nassau Street at 9:56 a.m. on Monday, July 25. There were active warrants from Edison and North Brunswick totaling $148. He was released on bail.
Princeton Township
       Robin Anita Thomas, 52, of Lawrenceville, was arrested and charged with DWI and careless driving at 10:40 p.m. on July 24 on Cherry Valley Road. She was released to a family member and was issued several motor vehicle summons.
  West Windsor
   Matthew Bollettieri, 22, of East Brunswick, was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving on Van Wick Drive at 12:53 a.m. on Sunday, July 24. Mr. Bolletieri was issued motor vehicle summonses and released.
   Kyle Davis, 22, of East Windsor, was issued a complaint summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance on July 20. Police responded to a report of a nude man running through the Vaughn Drive parking lot at the Princeton Junction train station. While gathering Mr. Davis’ clothes, an officer found the substance, which has been sent to the lab for testing. Mr. Davis is scheduled to appear in court.
  Plainsboro
   An employee of 600 College Road East reported a stolen car between 8:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. on July 26. The vehicle was a 2005 Subaru WRX, valued at approximately $15,000. Plainsboro police are seeking information.
   A woman reported having her purse stolen from her unlocked 2010 Mazda at Montessori Day School at 8:30 a.m. on July 26. The purse contained credit cards, documents and personal items, valued at approximately $1,075. The case is under investigation.
   A resident of Stults Drive reported the theft of a reflective green “Slow Down” sign that was placed near their residence valued at $50 between 8:30 p.m. on July 23 and 8 a.m. on July 24.
   Copper wires, copper tubing and an air conditioning unit were stolen from 1600 Ravens Crest Drive between June 24 and July 27. Much of the copper wires were already installed and were removed. The building was involved in a fire in December 2010 that rendered the building uninhabitable and has been a construction site since.
