Security cameras will be installed at three locations in the borough.
The devices will be watching the top deck of the Spring Street garage, Witherspoon Plaza and the Sewer Operating Committee.
”The cameras in the plaza and on the roof of the garage are just for additional security. There are blind spots in our current camera set up,” said Robert W. Bruschi, borough administrator.” As far as SOC goes we have had some acts of vandalism and theft over the past couple of years.” The cameras will be installed in the next couple of months and monitored by garage employees and police, said Jack West, borough engineer.
The total cost for the project is $19,337.94. NetQ Multimedia Company in Jackson will do the work.
