With the school year behind us and summer now in full swing, the United Way of Northern New Jersey, Somerset County has launched their 2011 Stuff the Bus school supply fund drive. Peapack-Gladstone Bank has proudly supported this program in the past by collecting hundreds of school supplies at its Somerset County branch locations. Donations are in turn distributed by the United Way to local schools, providing needy children with the necessary tools they need to begin the school year ready to learn.
This year’s Stuff the Bus program will run Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, August 19. Donations of new school supplies in addition to clothing for use by school nurses will be accepted at the following Peapack-Gladstone Bank branch locations: Bernardsville, Bridgewater, Chubb, Gladstone, Far Hills, Hillsborough, Pluckemin, Pottersville, Warren and Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge.
Similarly, Peapack-Gladstone Bank will also participate in the Hunterdon County United Way Tools 4 Schools program. Participating branches include Califon, Clinton, Oldwick and Whitehouse. Donations can be dropped off beginning Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, August 12.
