Bryan Peace, 21, of Princeton University was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at 4:08 a.m. on Sept. 12. Mr. Peace was accused of being intoxicated and entering a Cedar Lane home through an unlocked door and going into the master bedroom, which he told police he thought, was his Princeton University dorm.* * *
Jose Carrasco, 24, of Woodbridge turned himself in at the police department at 11:06 a.m. on Sept. 9. He had $1,136 in active warrants from Woodbridge Township.
Princeton Township
Margarita Lopez, 63, of Mendham was charged for failure to yield right of way at 12:53 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the intersection of Walnut Lane and Valley Road. Ms. Lopez’s car struck the right rear door of the car of Durwin Newlin, 56, of Princeton. This caused his car to veer left, strike the curb and hit a traffic sign, fence and coming to rest in the yard of a private home.
James Britt Jr., 64, of Russell Road was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and reckless driving at 5:48 p.m. on Aug. 26 after being stopped by police on Russell Road.
Roy Ammons, 33, of Redding Circle was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, handheld cell phone, careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle at 9:57 p.m. on Aug. 26 at Mt. Lucas Road after his vehicle hit and shattered a utility pole.
A small quantity of an unknown fluid was reported coming out of the ground in the area of the Princeton Nursery School at 6:49 on Sept. 7. Patrols located the substance that is identified as home heating oil coming from the driveway of a house adjacent to the school. The oil leaked down the driveway and onto Leigh Avenue. The Princeton Fire Department and The Department of Envitonmental Protection was contacted about the incident. The Princeton Fire Department was able to contain the fluid.
Montgomery
Miles Johnson, 20, of Willingboro, was arrested and was issued a complaint summons for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia at 11:54 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Route 518 near Route 206. Mr. Johnson was issued a traffic summons for driving without taillights and possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. The vehicle was impounded.
West Windsor
Robert Krug, 19, was arrested and charged with underage driving while intoxicated, failure to stop before making a right on red and reckless driving at 12:50 a.m. Sept.10 at the intersection of Route 571 and Alexander Road.
A South Lane home was reported burglarized between 3 and 9 p.m. Sept. 10. Several thousand dollars in cash was reported stolen. There were no signs of forced entry.
A car was reported vandalized with spray paint and dirt on Sept. 9 between 6:20 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. at 102 Carnegie Center Blvd.
A Pennsylvania resident reported someone spray painted and threw dirt on a 2008 silver Lexus between 6:20 a.m. and 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 9 at 102 Carnegie Center Blvd. parking lot. The cost to repair was undetermined.
Plainsboro
One of PSE&G’s gray utility boxes was vandalized on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 on Krebs Road. Someone spray painted the utility box with black paint.
Warren Clark, 47,was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, failure to stop for a right on red and failure to maintain a lane at 2:25 a.m. Sept.11 at Quail Ridge Dive on Scotts Corner Road.
