Clover Hill Reformed Church 890 Amwell Road, will hold a pig roast with seatings at 4:45 and 6:15 p.m. only. It’s a benefit for the church building fund.
Walk-ins will be seated on a “seats available” basis at each time. Take-out is available. For tickets, contact the church office at 908-369-8451. Cost is $12 for adults, $6 for children 5-12 and free for under five.
There will be also be a baked good table in the narthex of the church on the day of pig roast. Along with the usual donations of pies, cakes and cookies, there’ll be sugar-free baked items, homemade preserves and homemade candy.
The ladies of the church will sell raffle tickets for a queen-size crocheted bed cover they made. Proceeds also benefit the building fund. Tickets are one for $2 or three for $5. The bed cover will be displayed in the narthex during the dinner. The drawing will be Sunday, Oct. 2, during the coffee hour. You do not have to be present to win.
