New Jersey Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff and Dawn Jacobs, a dedicated volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Trenton and Ewing, ready a cooler containing meals for delivery to the elderly and disabled. Jacobs, a recent college graduate who regularly volunteers, is a recognized and welcome face to many of the 150 clients who depend on Meals on Wheels of Trenton and Ewing for nutritious meals each week. The Treasurer helped Jacobs deliver meals to about dozen homes and apartments on Dec. 1. Meals on Wheels of Trenton/Ewing has an urgent need for more volunteers.
