PRINCETON: Township bank robbed

   A Princeton Township bank on State Road was robbed the evening of Dec. 22.
   Police responded to the TD Bank on State Road at 5:33 p.m., for a report of a bank robbery in progress.
   None of the bank staff was injured, according to police.
   The robber passed a note to a teller and had a verbal exchange the teller.
   The staff at the bank told police the robber fled on foot in an unknown direction. The man was described as a Hispanic or light skinned black man with freckles, approximately 5’9”, 170 lbs. and wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, black NY Yankees hat, blue jeans and black sneakers.
   No weapon was shown during the robbery.
   The case was being investigated jointly by the Princeton Township police and the FBI.
   According to a law enforcement website, this same man was also wanted in connection with other TD Bank robberies in Union, Edison, Metuchen, Rahway, Roselle and Westfield.
