Twenty-three students from Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ will perform as the children’s chorus in Boheme Opera NJ’s production of “Hansel and Gretel” being staged at The College of New Jersey on Sunday, December 11th at 3:00. These students in grades 5-8 will perform alongside seasoned opera singers in a professional production featuring a live orchestra. Based on the Grimm brothers’ fairytale, Hansel and Gretel free children baked into gingerbread by an evil witch. Boheme Opera’s production is presented in English and is staged by Brent Monahan and conducted by Joseph Pucciatti. The children’s chorus is prepared by Grant Mech.
