WORLD MISSION SOCIETY CHURCH OF GOD
“SERVING D.C. COMMUNITY IN HONOR OF SECOND COMING CHRIST AHNSAHNGHONG”
WASHINGTON D.C. – January 29, 2012: The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) has come together to serve the Washington D.C. community by cleaning up the Potomac River to honor the Second Coming of Christ Ahnsahnghong. About 200 WMSCOG members coming from all over Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. will be assisting the men and women that work for the National Park service by beautifying and cleaning the infamous Potomac River at Haines Point.
Haines Point is a peninsula that forges into the Potomac River and causes a lot of debris to build up and pollute the neighboring communities with large logs and garbage. The WMSCOG, on Jan. 29th 2012between 9am n 12pm, will be picking up debris, pulling out logs that have fallen into the Potomac River and any additional garbage that is deemed unsightly around the area. This will not only assist the surrounding communities with keeping their neighborhoods safe and clean but also will provide a haven for the children and families that come to this area to share in a once in a lifetime memory of visiting the nation’s capital.
WMSCOG are a faith-based organization that teaches, and proves, the Second Coming of Christ and the Heavenly Mother. Newspapers and magazines around the world have recognized this unique Church and its remarkable international growth. Recently, BBC Radio interviewed one of its members from Manchester and explained some of the Church’s fascinating beliefs. On December 25, 2011 the WMSCOGcarried out a large-scale movement all over the world, which the European, Asian, Australian, African and South American media have covered about Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem, who is here on earth. It’s time for America to know about this incredible news.
WMSCOG has been established in 150 countries in just half a century. Today the members from all over the world are spreading the gospel of the new covenant fervently. They contribute to human society through various activities such as emergency relief efforts, environmental protection efforts, worldwide financial aid to the disadvantaged, and promoting children’s and senior citizen’s welfare. The efforts of the WMSCOGhave awarded them the Presidental Letter of Appreciation. Having moved the heart of President Barack Obama, he commended the Church on “strengthening our nation and for making a difference through volunteer service.”
