MILLSTONE — Master dog groomers from all over the state will present special seminars at a local business this year.

The Angels in Fur canine groomery, located on Carrs Tavern Road in the Clarksburg section of the township, will host a series of grooming seminars. Each guest groomer has no less than a decade of professional experience in the dog-grooming industry, according to Jane Gallagher, owner of Angels in Fur.

“Jan. 15 was the first of many upcoming events, and outstanding, hand-scissored show cuts were performed on standard poodles, bichons frises, and cocker spaniels,” Gallagher said.

Angels in Fur seeks model dogs from the sporting, terrier and herding groups for future seminars.

Angels in Fur is a full-service grooming salon and dog day-care center.

Gallagher attended the Nash Academy for Advanced Grooming Techniques in Fairview, and has learned to groom dogs to the standards set at top dog shows such as the Westminster Kennel Club Show in New York City.

Rates depend on the breed of dog and on the services being rendered.
