ZUKETUNES LLC ANNOUNCES GARDEN OF MUSIC
Original Music Written About Hunger In America Now Being Sold Online To Help AmpleHarvest.org’s Fresh Food For Pantries Campaign
For Immediate Release:
West Milford, NJ n (March 12, 2012) n zuketunes LLC is pleased to announce Garden of Music- a collection of original and inspiring music written to help fight hunger and malnutrition in America in its collaboration with AmpleHarvest.org.
Conceived and produced by Deborah Zuke Smith, vocal and artist coach in New Jersey and founder of zuketunes LLC. She invited nine of her very talented young artists, one of whom was an X-Factor finalist, to write original songs for a non-profit that addresses the elimination of hunger across America. Smith said, “I wanted to find a way to help my artists share their gifts. It has always been my focus to help guide them to use their talents for the greater good. The goal is to have this be the starting point of working with singer-songwriters who will create music specifically targeted towards problems and the charities working to solve them. I selected AmpleHarest.org because hunger is all around us… and so is the extra food in millions of home gardens. AmpleHarvest.org brilliantly connects the dots between the problem and the solution… both already existing in every community in America.”

The AmpleHarvest.org Campaign, created by CNN Hero Gary Oppenheimer in 2009, was designed to educate, encourage and enable growers nationwide to share their excess garden bounty with local food pantries, which typically only have processed food. It does this through an online clearinghouse of neighborhood food pantries eagerly accepting donations of fresh produce. Nearly 5,000 food pantries, or about 1 out of every 7 in America, spread across all fifty states have registered and more are signing up daily.
In the spirit of sustainability Garden of Music is only available as a digital download, which can be purchased on cdbaby, iTunes, and Amazon. All proceeds will go directly to the AmpleHarvest.org campaign.
