Arielle Lingard, 20, of Howell, was charged with heroin possession and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 4:12 p.m., April 4, police said.
Patrolman Shawn Bruton saw a vehicle traveling south on Route 130 South and pulled it over near Dominos pizza for having a view obstruction hanging from the windshield, police said. The officer detected evidence that narcotics may be present in the vehicle and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of heroin, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Ms. Lingard was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia, CDS in a motor vehicle and having a view obstruction, police said. She was arrested, processed, charged and released pending a future court date.
Andreas Paliabelos, 51, of East Windsor, was charged with DWI and other offenses at 9:02 p.m., April 7, police said.
Patrolwoman Barbara Borges responded to a call reporting a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 130 on only three tires. The officer located the vehicle traveling on a flat tire and below the posted speed limit near the East Windsor Township line. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected evidence he was intoxicated and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Mr. Paliabelos was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, hazardous tires and improper maintenance of lamps, police said. He was arrested, processed, charged and released pending court.
