Three people have been charged in connection with the armed robbery of the Quick Check on Route 27 April 25.
The three suspects, Jeremy Barge, 27, Tyree Romero, 21, and Crystal Davis, 18, all of North Brunswick, were arrested and charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy to commit a robbery, according to police.
The robbery took place about 2 a.m. April 25 at the convenience store at the intersection of Route 27 and Henderson road, according to police.
The suspects entered the store, allegedly produced a weapon and then made off with $389 cash, according to police.
Detectives John Penney and Ken Herman worked with detectives from North Brunswick and have since linked the trio to other robberies in East Brunswick, Milltown and North Brunswick, according to police.
”North Brunswick detectives quickly developed suspects and shared the information with other law enforcement,” Chief of Police Raymond Hayducka said. “The team work approach allowed the suspects to be captured less than 72 hours after the robberies.”
All three suspects are being lodged at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick in default of $50,000 bail each, according to police.
