EAST WINDSOR — A taxi driver was held up for cash at Windsor Castle apartments on Monday night, according to police.
No one was injured after two African American and one Caucasian men robbed the woman driver, a release from the East Windsor Police Department said.
The taxi driver told authorities that the three passengers had robbed her at gunpoint upon arriving to the agreed destination of Windsor Castle apartments, police said. She described the Caucasian man as having red hair.
The men fled the vehicle by foot after taking the cash from the victim, police stated.
The incident remained under investigation as of press time.
