Kristi Noel “Dubo” DuBrosky
Miss DuBrosky, 26, of Middletown, died Feb. 28 in Holmdel. She was born in Long Branch. Miss DuBrosky was a nurse at the Laurel Bay Rehabilitation Center, Keansburg. Prior to that, she was a nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was a graduate of Middletown High School North; Kean University, Union; and the Monmouth County Nursing program. She was a member and past president of Sigma Beta Chi. She enjoyed sports. Miss DuBrosky was predeceased by her father, Donald DuBrosky, in 2003. She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Barrett DuBrosky of Middletown and Allentown; a brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Wenona DuBrosky of Allentown; three nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, North Middletown, followed by burial at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
Frank M. Zurey
Mr. Zurey, 58, of Manalapan, died Feb. 22 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Passaic, he grew up in Garfield and had lived in Manalapan for the past 25 years. Mr. Zurey was a self-employed contractor. He was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pamela; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debra of Howell; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Eddie Myler of Manalapan; his mother, Emma Zurey of Garfield; a sister, Patricia Mercadante of Atlantic Highlands; and eight grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan. The Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
Therese “Terry” Humenn
Mrs. Humenn, 70, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 23 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. She was the former owner of Gifts and Smiles, Fair Haven and Matawan. She worked as assistant coordinator of arts and crafts at Pine Brook Nursing Home, Englishtown. Surviving are her former husband, Richard F. Humenn of the Whiting section of Manchester; a son, Polar Humenn of Syracuse, N.Y.; two daughters, Susie T. Craig of Point Pleasant and Regina A. Traficante of Brunswick, Ga.; and four grandchildren. A service was held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Jennifer A. Forester
Ms. Forester, 34, of Freehold, died Feb. 22 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Tampa, Fla., she grew up in Georgia and Louisiana before moving to Hightstown and then to Freehold. A 1990 graduate of Hightstown High School, she was an account manager for Visual Graphic Systems, New York. Ms. Forester is survived by her parents, Elenora and Robert Forester of Knoxville, Tenn.; her domestic partner, Carrie Aspan; a brother, Robert Forester of Colorado; three sisters, Tisha Lolley of Joplin, Mo., Shannon Cox of Knoxville, and Michele Forester of Omaha, Neb.; and her friend David Francis of Roosevelt. Funeral services were held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. Interment was private.
