Salons Saving Our Shores
New Jersey hair salon unites industry for Hurricane Sandy relief fundraiser
What: Salons Saving Our Shores (Salons S.O.S) is an initiative that unifies and mobilizes hair salons and spas to fundraise for the recovery and rebuilding efforts of New Jersey families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. “After seeing such tragedy envelop my state, clients and neighbors, I could think of no better way to use my ‘gift’ of cutting hair than to raise money to help,” says Denise Taylor, founder of Salons S.O.S and co-owner of Great Looks multi-cultural hair salon in New Jersey’s Princeton area.
When: Sunday, December 23rd, 2012: A Gift of Hope – Cut-A-Thon
