PRINCETON: Name the buildings contest deadline Feb. 15

Princeton residents have until next week to submit names in a contest to determine what the former Borough Hall and the township municipal building should be called.
Entry forms can be obtained in person at either the Princeton Public Library or the town clerk’s office in the municipal building on Witherspoon Street, or online at www.princetonlibrary.org/names, according to Library Director Leslie Burger.
Residents, who must be 18 or older to participate, can submit a name for one or both buildings. Each contestant must include a typed essay of up to 250 words explaining the submission.
The deadline is Feb.15 at 5 p.m., with all entries due to the library administration office on the second floor. The new names will be announced sometime around March 1.
Winners get prizes that include free family membership to the community pool, free DVD rentals for a year at the library, a $250 gift certificate to McCaffrey’s and season tickets to the Princeton University football or basketball teams.
